MACHINE SHOP MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Shop Maintenance Technician to join our team in Branchburg, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment, including CNC machines. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and other shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs and equipment status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and facilities maintenance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on CNC machine repair.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
